BRADFORD ON AVON, UK -- Corsham School's website, designed and built by Boson Media, has won a prestigious award from the Web Marketing Association.
The award puts the school on a list of winners alongside global companies like Disney and Microsoft.
Corsham School's site (www.corsham.wilts.sch.uk) won the "Outstanding Achievement in Web Development" WebAward 2010.
All entries for the awards were judged on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. Sites from 96 different industries are judged by an independent panel of volunteers. The WebAwards have been given out annually since the founding of the Web Marketing Association in 1997.
Corsham School's Electronic Learning Environment Manager Charlie Parsons said: "Boson Media worked with us to create a stunning website and designs for our learning platform, which really pushed the boundaries of what was technically possible. We had a number of complex technical issues that needed addressing and Boson Media always rose to the challenge of finding a workable solution."
Richard Anderson, Managing Director of Boson Media, said: "We enjoyed working with the staff and pupils at Corsham School, on what ended up being a rewarding and enjoyable web project. Everyone at the school should be proud of this award, which reflects the great content they've added to the website since it was launched back in 2008."
